Lab Goals
We strive to provide all research group members with the opportunity to hone their research and presentation skills, while contributing to the current diversity knowledge-base. We seek to develop competent graduate and undergraduate researchers while representing the Michigan State University Organizational Psychology program.
What We Do
Currently, we focus on a number of topics under the broad umbrella of workplace diversity and discrimination, and openly explore related subjects. We investigate these questions via multiple methods: controlled experimental designs, surveys and interviews of active job seekers and employees, audit studies, and longitudinal examinations of behavior. We have completed or have in progress studies focusing onĀ an array of topics:
- women in male-dominated jobs
- religious minorities
- individuals in stigmatized professions
- demographic representation in the workplace
- coworker relationships
- and more!
